OUTCOME
6 years of Community Building through Tattoo Projects, Developped a unique visual language and a body of work around it.
TATTOOS WITH FLOW

I created a style of tattooing which focuses on the body’s natural shapes, often drawing directly on the skin before translating the designs to paper. This approach celebrates the body as it is, shifting focus away from preceived flaws towards joy and appreciation.

For many years, I have had the pleasure of creating tattoos for the queer and feminist communities of Zurich, a practice that has since expanded to Paris.

COMMUNITY BUILDING

In my practice, self-expression and tattooing have always been closely linked to sense of community. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of creating tattoos for countless members of Zurich’s queer and feminist communities. Through events and Instagram, a small network has formed around my work—people who connect with the philosophy behind my style and who share meaningful moments and encounters in the studio. I further explore this community aspect by writing about it in my coffee table book Through the Body.
ARTISTIC PROCESS

Since I began tattooing, I have been fascinated by ephemeral, organic shapes, especially the swirls and waves of water. Over time, my style has developed into a visual language of liquid, flowing shapes, ranging from recognizable motifs to complete abstraction. My creative process often begins directly on the skin, where I paint with watercolors and follow the natural lines of the body. Through this method, I discover shapes, movements, and new tattoo ideas, which I then translate back onto paper before returning them to the body. This constant exchange creates a sense of harmony and fluidity—each tattoo becomes not a static sticker but an extension of the body’s natural motion. In collaboration with my clients, the right motif and placement often pesent themselves organically. Once both align, the tattooing begins.
