I Am Not Empty I Am Open is an artist book bringing together a selection of work alongside a number of essays. The essays are written by contributors across disciplines, each offering their own personal interpretation of the book’s title and the works contained within. The project moves between image and language, exploring emptiness not as absence but rather as an opportunity for curiosity wherein we may free ourselves from distractions and externally imposed meanings.
